A rival compared by only a few creators is a lead to check, not a consensus, and gets no winner.

Bars count creators, out of the 28 in this report, each in their strongest group only: tested both, a head-to-head from their own use that a second AI check confirmed; compared on a point, a comparison from their own use, with no second check; named as a reference, on a specification, from hearsay, or a brand name.

None of these says who came out ahead. The groups were counted by Claude from the comparisons, and no person has checked them yet.

The videos were chosen for this product, so this is what its reviewers bring up, not the whole market.

Views are the YouTube view counts of each creator’s videos in this report, as collected between 2 November 2026 and 2 November 2026: views, not people. They never weight a finding, which counts each creator once. Ties are what the videos state, across all of a creator’s videos here.

Every review in this report (28)
Every video with a stated tie (12)

Every line of evidence carries the ties its video discloses: sponsorships, supplied units and affiliate links. A video that discloses nothing may still have a tie.

The evidence behind each conclusion.

Most conclusions are about the Headphone (1) Pro on its own, from its own reviews. A direct comparison comes from creators who compared it with one rival from their own use. Each line of evidence is a summary of what was said, with the link to check it.

  1. 01 · Verdicts: what each creator recommends, as they state it · evidence from 16 creators: 16 for, 0 against

Overall: most reviewers recommend it, and more than half of those attach a condition

Of the 28 creators counted, 10 recommend the Headphone (1) Pro outright (Aaron X Loud and Wireless, Check New Tech, Dan's Tech House, Flossy Carter, Irina Tech, Kevin Breeze, RonOnTech, Spry Bry, TK Bay, WhatGear). 12 recommend it on a condition, mostly about who it suits: people who value its design and physical controls over class-leading noise cancelling (Drew Lipps, Hey Im Rahat, TotallydubbedHD), creators who want the flat switch (GadgetsBoy), Android or Nothing phone owners (GNCandrew), commuters (GadgetsBoy, I'm CheCo Tech), enthusiasts and design fans rather than casual listeners (DevonDoesTech), non-audiophiles who want pro features (Mark Ellis), buyers who want sound in an eye-catching or stand-out design (EL JEFE REVIEWS, Benjamin Fekete, TechDaily), and one who would swap out the case (RecordingNOW).

    • Picky Audio splits its advice: one of the best at its price, but the Sennheiser Momentum 5 for good sound without EQ. 5 point buyers elsewhere or reject it: Marques Brownlee to the older Sony WH-1000XM4 at $300 for better sound and ANC, OASTHAR takes the Sony WH-1000XM6 for his own travel (lighter, folds, keeps its seal), SoundGuys to the Nothing Headphone (a) unless you need top-tier ANC, Tech Spurt to the Technics EAH-A800 for £50 more, and The Headphone Show finds it not for him over its acoustic design.
    • Ties, as the videos state them: 8 of the 28 had a unit from Nothing (Dan's Tech House, DevonDoesTech, Drew Lipps, EL JEFE REVIEWS, GNCandrew, SoundGuys, Spry Bry, TK Bay); RecordingNOW says it buys its own.
“See, on one hand, I really do love what the manufacturer's achieved, namely in comparison to its siblings, the Headphone (1) and the (a)s. They're an upgrade in terms of sound quality, active noise cancellation, and also features.”
TotallydubbedHD · listen at the second it was said

What it means. Recommendation is common but rarely unqualified for a general buyer: design, controls and the flat switch are the reasons to buy, while price, noise cancelling against Sony and Bose, and the case are the reasons given for looking elsewhere.

  2. 02 · Its own reviews: what creators said about it, with no rival · evidence from 19 creators: 17 for, 13 against

The case: the most common complaint, raised by 17 of 28

17 of the 28 creators fault the hard case, and 6 verdicts name it as a qualification.

    • The points repeat: no room for the cables (8: Drew Lipps, EL JEFE REVIEWS, Mark Ellis, RonOnTech, TK Bay, Tech Spurt, TechDaily, WhatGear), no way to charge the headphones inside it (8: EL JEFE REVIEWS, Flossy Carter, Mark Ellis, Marques Brownlee, Picky Audio, RonOnTech, TechDaily, WhatGear), heavy or bulky (8: Aaron X Loud and Wireless, Drew Lipps, EL JEFE REVIEWS, GadgetsBoy, Mark Ellis, RecordingNOW, Tech Spurt, TechDaily), the headband left exposed (5: Aaron X Loud and Wireless, I'm CheCo Tech, Marques Brownlee, RecordingNOW, WhatGear), and flimsy or quick to scratch (4: I'm CheCo Tech, Irina Tech, Marques Brownlee, Picky Audio).
    • Marques Brownlee calls it the worst case he has seen on headphones and says it almost ruins them; EL JEFE REVIEWS calls it the biggest miss, RecordingNOW the worst part, TechDaily the biggest complaint. 13 creators, most of them critics too, say it protects the ear cups and glass well.

Physical controls: praised by 18 of 28

18 of the 28 praise the physical roller, paddle and buttons as easy to use without looking; Marques Brownlee calls them the best in the headphone space, and Drew Lipps and TotallydubbedHD give them as a reason to buy.

    • The complaints are narrow: the flat switch is hard to reach while wearing them (GadgetsBoy), spatial audio can't be put on a button (RonOnTech), and transparency toggled itself on and off when Flossy Carter moved.

How this was made.

A snapshot of the reviews we collected, not of all YouTube. Every line above links to the moment in the video it comes from, so any point can be checked at the source.

  • 28 YouTube videos that review the Nothing Headphone (1) Pro, in English: the reviews we confirmed are about it.
  • An AI model watched every video, without reading its captions, and recorded what each reviewer said and the moment they said it. Each line cited here was then found in the video’s YouTube captions, and its link opens at the captions’ moment; 1 of the 28 videos has no captions, and there each moment, and any words given as a creator’s, is the model’s hearing of the video. A second AI check then went over each comparison separately.
  • An AI model (Claude) wrote the conclusions from that record, citing the claims for and against each one.
  • A line appears in quotation marks only after a person has heard it at its link. Everything else is a summary of what was said, with the link to check it.
  • The counts in each conclusion are creators, out of the 28. Some follow the topic an AI model filed each claim under, and some Claude’s grouping of the claims; a person has checked neither yet.
  • Each rival’s head-to-heads are only comparisons that a second, separate AI check agreed with, made by creators from their own use of both. The topic each one is filed under is assigned by an AI model and has not yet been reviewed by a person.
  • Each conclusion says how many creators its evidence comes from, for and against.
  • An AI model sorted each recommendation into one use, from the creator’s condition, stated audience and verdict. Any it was less than 50% sure of are listed as not sorted.
  • Views are the YouTube view counts of each creator’s videos in this report, as collected on 2 November 2026: views, not people. They are shown beside the creators, never used to weight them.
  • We know the upload date of 16 of the 28 videos: they were published between 29 September 2026 and 27 October 2026 (16 in 2026). Each reviewer describes the firmware, app and price of the day they reviewed, so a point may have changed since.
  • Other products are shown by how each creator compared them with it, each creator in their strongest group only: tested both (a head-to-head from their own use that a second AI check confirmed), compared on a point (a comparison from their own use that no second check confirmed), and named as a reference (on a specification, from hearsay, or a brand). Products we track, products we do not, and bare brand names are listed apart. None shows a winner, and the groups were counted by Claude.
